Testimonials
Mike is a brilliant PD. He’s reliable, hard working, a real team player and a fantastic self shooter. He is brilliant and creative in the edit and always has a solution for any issue that might come up. As well as his obvious talents in production, he is a thoroughly likeable and decent bloke who’s pleasure to have around. I would highly recommend him to any production and they’d be lucky to have him

Terri Langan, Exec Producer, Hello Halo Productions
Mike is a tremendously creative and talented director who can seek out the narrative and deliver it, whether that be observed documentary series following addicts or factual entertainment following upholsterers he brings it home every time. Because Mike shoots for the edit (because he can also do that) he knows exactly what to get on location and is a very safe pair of hands. We love working with Mike and highly recommend him as a director across a range of genres.

Jules Kean, Exec Director, Friel Kean Films
Mike is a good all rounder - he shoots beautifully, great with contributors, and is able deliver the best story possible. He is also a very nice guy.

Malcolm McKissock, Series Producer BBC
Mike is a great shooting PD - cheerful, good with people, a strong team player. I'll definitely book him again in the future.

Series Producer BBC
It was a pleasure working with Mike. His journalistic nous and great eye meant we had a superb set of rushes. His camerawork and approach meant we made the most of our access to a chaotic and busy NHS A&E department and allowed us to show its workings in unflinching detail.
