Since 2001 Mike has been producing and shooting documentaries from around the world.

These have included work for broadcasters such as the BBC, Channel 4 (UK), Aljazeera and PBS, and Mike has won or been nominated for several prestigious awards including BAFTA, RTS and Amnesty awards. 

He specialises in telling personal human stories that reveal wider contemporary issues, either domestically in the UK or overseas, often in hostile areas and concerning sensitive subjects.

Mike's passion is for observational documentary, but he has also covered current affairs, factual entertainment, comedy, arts, travel, daytime and children's TV. These have been in the form of series, one hours, half-hours and short features. He owns his own Sony FS7 and a7siii kits, as well as a Mavic 2 Pro drone.
